I’VE JUST SUBSCRIBED, WHEN DO I GET MY FIRST ISSUE?
That depends on when you subscribed. Generally, you’ll get your first subscription issue before the next issues hits the news stands.
Australian Muscle and Fitness is a monthly magazine, that means you may have to wait 6 weeks to receive your first subscription issue.
If you don’t, email our subscription department (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your subscription details (subscriber number, name and address) or call on 02 9439 1955 within business hours (9am to 5pm AEST).
MY SUBSCRIPTION HASN’T ARRIVED!
If you’re a subscriber, you should get your copy a few days before it goes on sale in the newsagent. If you see the new edition in the newsstand, but you haven’t got yours by mail, there could be a problem.

SO, YOU WANT TO BE ON THE COVER?
Good for you. You’ve obviously worked hard for a great body and want to show it off. The good news is Australian Muscle and Fitness does feature fitness models on the cover.
Here’s what you do.
Send a couple of low-res JPEGs to the editor (email@example.com). Attach a brief bio about your training, history, etc. Then wait for a response.
We will get back to you and ask for high-res JPEGs if you are successful.

So, yes, we do accept freelance articles. But they are accepted because they are suitable for publication, meaning they’re well-written, well-researched, are suitable for the tone of the magazine and are a benefit to the reader. I’ll say that again slowly, they are a benefit to the reader.
Here’s the process of submitting an article to Australian Muscle and Fitness:
1. Read the magazine.
2. Read the magazine again.
3. Conceive a story that is suitable.
4. Write an overview of the story, no more than 200 words long.
5. List your sources: who you’re going to talk to; what you’re going to do, where you’re going to go, again no more than 200 words.
6. Write a brief account of your experience as a writer.
7. Send all of the above to the editor (firstname.lastname@example.org)
8. Then wait for for a response.
